Dr. Catalan received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Trenton State College, a Medical Doctorate at Temple University School of Medicine, and an Internal Medicine Internship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. He received his Diagnostic Radiology Residency from Tripler Regional Medical Center with a Body Imaging Fellowship from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Catalan is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
Dr. Catalan is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Medical Service Corps, for the United States Army. He trained at several military hospitals, such as Fort Bragg in North Carolina, Madigan Army Medical Center, Ft. Lewis in Tacoma, WA, Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, TX, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. Dr. Catalan attended the United States-China Radiology Delegation-People to People Ambassador Programs.
